An explanation: I have (what I believe to be) a somewhat odd work style: I tend to have many, many active projects and skip around between them. This often leads to me not appearing to get a whole lot done, but it helps me remain at least slightly productive when I hit a roadblock or just don’t feel like working on a certain song. Here, I keep track of the status of each song with the time when I last worked on it.
Key:
“Nearly done” – ready or almost ready to post but have not done so due to a few lingering issues or last-second doubts
“Translating” – have translated part of the song; transcription is complete (see below)
“Transcribed” – have both original Japanese and Romaji text in a text file as a preparatory step
“Transcribing” – original Japanese and/or Romaji text are partially typed out in text file
“To start” – may have some grasp of the song’s meaning, but nothing has been recorded in text
“FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF” – subset of ‘Translating’; extremely frustrating
“???” (above ‘To start’) – uncertain status; simultaneously transcribing and translating, or TV size only
“???” (below ‘To start’) – pending requests, and low-priority plans (including those that already have text-files) that I don’t intend to finish anytime soon
