Ryoko Shintani, kure-nai ED episode 8, crossing days

kurenai holds a special place in my heart. It was the first series I watched that I actually followed in its entirety as it was airing. I remember everyone’s shock at the OP sequence, the rage at Shinkurou getting himself spit on, the musical episode… Interesting, and, in my opinion, one of the better series of this year. Always loved the ED songs.

Like the light that runs from east to west,
Every day just passes me by.
Nothing ever changes,
And there’s nothing exciting.
With these ever revolving days,
Just on time as the season comes around,
Little by little, something is beginning to change.

Don’t act like that as though you don’t notice it;
Let’s go together and see for ourselves.

I smile and jump into
A world that we’ve never seen before.
Try to show just a little courage.
I try not to hesitate;
It’s fine if we start with trivial things.
I’m waiting for the sunrise

If the extraordinary keeps happening, that will become ordinary.
Whether that has a good meaning or a bad meaning,
It’s reason enough not to lose sight of myself.
If there’s some percentage of error between the new reality and the future we wanted,
It’s fine if we just round to the nearest ten.
Let’s make the feeling flat.

The things I get used to like that won’t make me give up.
Shall we go enjoy ourselves together?

In my life,
There’s not one meaningless change.
Do you know?
It’s not just one time.
Let’s go create with everyone.
With that, to cowardice, “Bye bye.”

The time I whispered,
“I’m not alone,”
A light shone through.
“I’ll treasure it.”
Saying that, I embraced
The sun in the palm of my hand.

I smile and jump into
A world that we’ve never seen before.
Try to show just a little courage.
I try not to hesitate;
It’s fine if we start with trivial things.
I’m waiting for the sunrise

Vocals:
Words, Music & Arrange: R・O・N

I smile
I try
I’m waiting for the sunrise

my life何ひとつ

I smile
I try
I’m waiting for the sunrise
