2011 Stats

I’ve decided to start including more actual writing in my blog, so this year, I’ll start early, with the easiest part.

Total hits

In 2011, this blog got a total of 110,927 page views,  just up from 106,263 in 2010. Most views in a month: 11,099 in December.

Top 10 translations

1. Kuragehime – Koko Dake no Hanashi (October 31, 2010), 2520
2. UN-GO – Fantasy (October 26, 2011), 1467
3. UN-GO – How to go (October 15, 2011), 1318
4. Angel Beats! – Ichiban no Takaramono (Yui ver.) (June 26, 2010), 1296
5. C – RPG (March 21, 2011), 1231
6. Bakemonogatari – Ren’ai Circulation (February 1, 2010), 1218
7. Bakemonogatari – sugar sweet nightmare (March 2, 2010), 994
8. Angel Beats! – Last Song (December 6, 2010), 859
9. Puella Magi Madoka Magica – Magia (February 11, 2011), 839
10. Galileo Galilei – SGP (June 24, 2011), 809

So we have half of the top 5 from 2011 and the other half from 2010. Taimanin Asagi is noticeably absent, having ranked highly in the two previous years. Having a non-anime song in the top 10 is a first for the blog.

Kuragehime remains as unexpectedly popular as last year, getting more than twice what it got in the last two months of 2010.

UN-GO~ UN-GO’s themes were probably the only ones I really, really liked from the shows I picked up this last season (aside from maybe the Guilty Crown OP), so I’m glad to see them up there. Also, SFP.

Yui’s “Ichiban no Takaramono” jumps up one slot this year.

“RPG” takes the next slot. SFP~

Nadeko, last year’s winner, holds her place in the top 10. Hanekawa is also staying close behind.

Iwasawa’s last single was a rather unexpected thing for me, but after listening to it over time, “Last Song” has become one of my favorite Angel Beats! image songs. Nice to see it here.

being meguca is suffering

And we round off the top 10 with one of the B-sides from the AnoHana OP single. I personally liked the other B-side just a little more, but there’s just something very powerful about this one.

Other stuff

The School Food Punishment project page was my most viewed page over all translations, getting 3143 views. Maybe putting that little image in the sidebar helped, or maybe it was just all the searches from “Prog-Roid” and “How to go”.

Well, not too bad overall, I guess, considering how diminished my output was in the early part of the year, but… eh.

This year… ファイト!お~~
