So, that time again. Review!
In total, the blog (I still need to think of an actual name) received 107,358 views, down from 110,927 in 2011.
livetune feat. Hatsune Miku – Tell Your World (January 22, 2012)
Winner by a massive margin. Since I posted the song, it has consistently been the most-viewed page every day, and in my opinion, the song very much deserves its spot. It is in fact now my most-viewed post ever.
One of the last anime songs I translated in a reasonable time after release. It took me a while to get used to nano.RIPE’s vocals, but they’ve grown on me. And the OP sequence – that tennis smash bit is amazing.
Girls Dead Monster – Ichiban no Takaramono (Yui ver.) (June 26, 2010)
Angel Beats! image song
More than two years later, still feeling the ;_;.
I’m glad the UN-GO songs did as well as they did. Dropped two places from last year, but still going strong.
While it is a great song, I really did not expect this one to be that popular. Dropped from first to fifth, but not bad at all for a two-year-old post.
Probably my most consistent post (after “Tell Your World”, I guess). It sits at the same position as last year, and this is its third year in the top 10.
It overtook its fellow “Aoi Shiori” B-side this year. I think this is the better song, myself. So many feels. ;_;
One of SFP’s last songs. ;_; Well, it was nice while it lasted.
Up one position from last year. That beginning and first melody is really powerful.
Down seven slots from last year. I honestly think this is one of the best songs by SFP. Sad that it didn’t hold as well as “Fantasy”, but still glad to see it.
The School Food Punishment project page would have ranked better than everything except “Tell Your World”, at 3689 views. The Projects page would have ranked just behind “Koko Dake no Hanashi” at 1144 views, which is weird, since I pretty much never do anything with it at all.
“Borderland” from Jormungand just missed the top 10, at 761 views. Kind of sad, since that was also one of the last songs I TLed soon after release.
Much of what follows the top 10 is school food punishment.
Well, here’s to a better year. Some of the problems I had in 2012 are starting to disappear, so I look forward to what’s ahead.
