Yanagi Nagi – Uso

Yanagi Nagi, euaru

Last track on Nagi’s recent album, an echo of the first track. Nagi’s own composition. Beautiful.

Lies
Lyrics, Music, Arrangement, Programming & All Other Instruments: yanaginagi
Piano: Shin Kono

The time will come – I will lose someone someday.
I’m well aware of that,
But I’m not caught up to it.
I leave behind my thoughts.
I wonder if you’re still there on the other side of these letters.

The time will come – I will lose someone someday,
And that isn’t a sad thing.
No, don’t go on saying all those lies.
The place just for leaving your thoughts behind –
Don’t stay and get yourself stuck in place.
Don’t stay,
Okay?

The very idea of breaking a promise made to God
And leaving each and every thing
Behind in this place…

The time will come – I will lose someone someday.
I’m well aware of that,
But still, I can’t give up.

  1. I don’t know if you know, but in CD 2 of this album Nagi did a cover of School Food Punishment’s light prayer. I was pleasantly surprised and thought you’d like to know (if you don’t already). Have a good day!
