Annabel, TALK

Ex-School Food Punishment alert! This song was composed and arranged by Hasuo Masayuki, the keyboardist.

Residents of an Incomplete Planet
Lyrics: Annabel
Composition / Arrangement: Hasuo Masayuki

If the night of this world were to go on and on, I’d be just fine with that,
Because I haven’t danced enough yet.
Not enough for you, either?
Even with a serious look on my face, maybe you can see right through me.

To tell the truth, I don’t really pay much attention to “acting like yourself.”
If the water’s sweeter over there, I want to jump in with no hesitation.
Hey, even if we didn’t get any sleep at all yesterday because of neverending work,
Let’s forget all about mundane tomorrows for now,
on the Flashlight

I’ll take you with me
Into a future where things don’t go as you expect.
When you leave your troubles behind and cut loose just a little, it changes.
I’d like it if you’d call my name in a loud voice.
Residents of an incomplete planet…

Think about it, what if this whole world was all extras for me?
When I think about it, I guess I feel a little better about things.
Nothing beyond any doors that don’t open,
Nothing and no one in the cities I don’t visit,
All around, a pure white image.

I’d hate it if I didn’t have you
To take me with you.
When you leave your troubles behind and cut loose just a little, it changes.
You can keep quiet if you want, just let me hear your voice.
Residents of an incomplete planet…

The temperature of the weekend reaches even the cold windowsill. Take me out…

I’ll take you with me
Into a future where things don’t go as you expect.
When you leave your troubles behind and cut loose just a little, it changes.
I’d like it if you’d call my name in a loud voice.
Residents of an incomplete planet…

Annabel

on the Flashlight

  1. I haven’t heard the album, but I was definitely excited when I heard the name in the composers and the arrangements.
