School Food Punishment, C ED
Note: This was originally posted on March 21, when the short version (not the TV-size cut) was released at School Food Punishment’s website.
I don’t usually do TV size translations, but it’s sfp, so I had to. (Well, I guess it’s SFP now, since they’ve started capitalizing the name? >_>) As always with the TV size TLs, these will most likely be changed when the single comes out. I’m doing this even earlier than usual, so I don’t even know the actual credits for sure, but judging by the strings, Ryou Eguchi is probably in there somewhere.
As for C, I’m looking forward to it. Trapeze director and Gurren Lagann music are mighty appealing.
Full version is now up. An interesting note is that the set of lyrics given in the anime’s ED sequence uses the kanji 未来 (mirai, “future”) for きみ (kimi, “you”) in a few places, even though such a substitution does not appear in the CD booklet.
And so, the School Food Punishment lyrics project is now up to date, and it will stay complete for a little over a month – in case you haven’t heard, their second album, Prog-Roid, is due for release on July 13. I’ll definitely be translating all of those when the time comes.
Lyrics: Uchimura Yumi, Eguchi Ryou
Composition: School Food Punishment, Eguchi Ryou
Arrangement: Eguchi Ryou
Going through the window, I quietly escape,
And the city in the night turns into a role playing game.
Following the signposts, I was led to a colorful world.
The signal to start is echoing.
Longing fills every bit of my body.
Wanting to meet you, I’ll run on through,
Flying over the darkness.
