Lyrics: Glielmo Ko-ichi
Composition: Glielmo Ko-ichi, u-ya

I got lost in daydreams and reality and the area between;
I can’t tell this world and that world apart anymore, it’s all beyond my understanding;
When I stumbled and fell, everything stopped
And I choked up with tears.
I kept on blaming myself, forgiveness impossible.

There’s no certainty that tomorrow will come,
So it’s only natural that feelings would sway.
Even now, I still remember how moved I felt
When we came to understand each other.
As they decline gradually with the trends,
I’ve begun to turn my back on the days that grow further away.
I don’t think I’ll ever look back again.

Durarara!! x2 Shou (OKAMOTO’S) – HEADHUNT

OKAMOTO’S, Durarara!! x2 Shou OP

PV (Japan IP address required): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1Ul1CrV5yE

アタマ (atama) can mean both “head” and “brain / mind”. While “brain” or “mind” might lean slightly closer to the intended meaning in certain lines of this song, “head” can also have that meaning in English, so I used that, especially considering what anime this is for. Note that the word “lost” that appears nearby isn’t part of either idiom of “to lose one’s head” or “to lose one’s mind”, but actually means “lost” as in “no longer in possession”, “misplaced,” etc.

Lyrics: Okamoto Shou, Ishiwatari Junji
Composition: Okamoto Kouki
Arrangement: OKAMOTO’S, Ookubo Tomohiro

Even if I cover my ears, even if I close my eyelids,
The things that are and aren’t still soak into my pores.

Rumors and gossip, stories of awful things – I’ve stopped thinking about all that.
I’m praying for other people’s misfortune. Fingers say more than mouths, you know?

Durarara!! – Complication

ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D, Durarara!! OP2

A little note about the rap: quite a few of the lines seemed to just be nouns with descriptions. I slightly modified those to become sentences. Also, there are a few cultural references, but I translated them to make them hopefully self-explanatory.

I love the pizzicato strings in this song.

Music: ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D
Arrange: ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D

The low sky laments with a face that looks like it’s about to cry.
With nothing to do, I whittle away the hours.
With nowhere to spit them out, I swallow down my feelings
And spit out saliva mixed with irritation instead.

Harboring anxiety that everything might break down, I fear tomorrow.
I know that just looking at the day after tomorrow won’t reveal the answer to me.

Listen: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/nm10142524

Don’t know the credits, sorry.

rain tears
Vocals: Hijiribe Ruri (CV: Fujita Saki)

Hey, do you know?
What appears in our eyes is dreams and illusions.
Under the grey sky, I walk, searching for you.
The words you spun, the past that was closed off –
What I hear is the sound of a single footstep.

Durarara!! – Butterfly

ON/OFF, Durarara!! ED2

Lyrics / Composition / Arrangement: Ihashi Naruya
Vocals: ON/OFF

I wonder, do dreams exist in this era?
I’ve gotten tired of saying that catchphrase.

I was sure that I’d always been acting bad,
But lately, even that purpose is dying.

“I want to meet” –
In this city where they fit so well, phrases like that are just spinning around.
I won’t be fooled (not by those) by those things.
I do understand my own feelings.

Ishikawa Sayuri – Tsugarukaikyou ・ Fuyugeshiki

Ishikawa Sayuri, Tsugarukaikyou ・ Fuyugeshiki

This song was recently covered by Shizuo Heiwajima of Durarara!! as a DVD extra. Daisuke Ono singing enka is awesome.

Tsugaru Strait ・ Winter Scenery
Lyrics: Aku Yuu
Composition: Miki Takashi
Vocals: Ishikawa Sayuri

Since I stepped off the night train departing from Ueno,
Aomori Station was within the snow.
In the crowd of people returning north, everyone is silent.
I hear only the rumbling of the sea.
I, too, ride alone on a connecting ferry.
I gazed at the seagulls that seemed like they would freeze and cried.
Ah, the Tsugaru Strait winter scenery…

THEATRE BROOK – Mirai wo Ima

THEATRE BROOK, c/w Durarara!! OP Uragiri no Yuuyake

Keyaki refers to a type of tree, often grown for ornamental purposes.

The guitar during the first chorus is really catchy.

Now, the Future
Lyrics: Satou Taiji
Composition: Satou Taiji
Arrangement: THEATRE BROOK

The blue sky was perfectly clear.
The keyaki in the garden softly
Captured me
And murmured in my ears.
