Kotonoha no Niwa – Rain

This song was originally by Ooe Senri (大江千里) in 1989. It was notably covered by Makihara Noriyuki (槇原敬之) in 1998 – that was the version I listened to while translating this, embedded below – and a new version by Hata Motohiro (秦基博) is to be the ending theme for Kotonoha no Niwa, Shinkai Makoto’s upcoming movie.
