【Lyrics TL】 STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION feat. Annabel – Dropping melodies

【Lyrics Translation】 STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION feat. Annabel, c/w GANGSTA. opening theme Renegade

If you’ve heard the tracks on both Renegade and Yoru no Kuni, you may have noticed that the two releases are kind of like diagonal mirror images as far as general feeling goes. Honestly, this is the song of the four that I’ve listened to the most to date.

Dropping melodies
Guest Vocal: Annabel

Now, what did you actually give to me?
I heard a fading voice in the distance
That song that stopped just now – whose song was that?
There’s no need to realize; it’s fine that way

Back then, what if I…
Let’s stop there

【Lyrics Translation】 STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, c/w Shokugeki no Soma: Shin no Sara opening theme Chronos

I actually really enjoy this structure, where the chorus is delayed, for a song with this kind of emotion.

All Instruments & Programming: R・O・N

Stop the rain for your sake

An unmoving wind – flowers spill down, quivering
The embittered sky blurs through smoke exhaled
You color me yellow

la la larks – Q And A

la la larks, c/w Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan ED Hallelujah

This translation is part of the School Food Punishment lyrics project, under the la la larks branch.

Q And A
Lyrics/ Composition / Arrangement: la la larks

Endlessly, I continue on.
Never knowing where I’m going to arrive,
The question marks are always in control of my mind.

Sadness, happiness – which one is more abundant?
It’s the presence or lack of talent, the conclusion of hard work.

Comparing to others, swinging between joy and fear,
Affirmation and denial, repeating again,
Mixing in my hopes, assigning points,
I’m trying to find out my own value.

Sasaki Eri – Oto ni Naru

Sasaki Eri, c/w Plastic Memories OP Ring of Fortune

In the original Japanese lyrics, various words and phrases (including the entire title) are written entirely in katakana where they normally wouldn’t. The effect of this? I’d describe it as adding dynamics to the constant feel of the song’s pace. Maybe something like ripples in a fast-moving stream.

Sasaki Eri, who wrote her own lyrics for this song, has said that the lyrics draw on some of her personal feelings, and that the song is set around her school days in Kyoto (probably university).

Turns Into Sound
Lyrics: Sasaki Eri
Composition / Arrangement: Yokoyama Masaru
Vocals: Sasaki Eri

Back then, with everything, there was always
A sense of urgency –
Hurry up, hurry up.

Whenever the seasons changed,
I’d walk aimlessly,
Forgetting about time.

In the lingering scent that permeated the hill,
I heard a healing song.
Yielding myself to the current that floods all around me, ah…

Guitars & Programming: Mutsuki Shuuhei
Bass: Kawashima Hiromitsu
Drums: Ichinose Hisashi
Trumpet: Suzuki Masanori
Trombone: Enomoto Yuusuke
Tenor Sax: Takegami Yoshinari
Brass Arrangement: Kawada Ruka

I wonder, who decided what “normal” is?
Shit doesn’t matter.
I just want to feel a reality
Greater than “imagination”.

Each and every person is a nameless conductor.
You won’t find anyone anywhere who’s the same as someone else – we’re all special.
When our personalities clash with each other,
<Pulsating Sequence, Escalating Audience>
We’re swallowed by the music. This sensation… Ah!!!

Iguchi Yuka – Yakusoku ~Boku no Uta~

Iguchi Yuka, c/w DanMachi opening theme Hey World (Anime Edition)

Note: the romanized title could in fact be “Yakusoku ~Boku no Shi~” (with the same meaning), but ever since AIR and “Tori no Uta”, I guess I feel entrained to use ‘uta’. I unfortunately can’t find any reliable sources to confirm, so for the moment, I go with my instincts.

Promise ~My Poem~
Lyrics: Satomi
Composition: Makaino Kouji
Arrangement: Maeguchi Wataru
Vocals: Iguchi Yuka

So that I can move toward
The place I want to reach,
I just try my best,
Doing what I can for now.

If I do nothing,
My aspirations will forever
Be nothing more than aspirations
And rust someday.

Sakamoto Maaya – coming up

Sakamoto Maaya, c/w M3 ~Sono Kuroki Hagane~ OP2 Replica

Very groovy.

coming up
Lyrics: Sakamoto Maaya
Composition / Arrangement: Hara Masakazu
Vocals: Sakamoto Maaya

clap clap, come together. It’s about to start, anytime now.
knock knock, over here. Don’t worry, I won’t ask your name.
clap clap, dusk has fallen. Swaying shadows, back and forth.
knock knock, just leave tomorrow’s matters for tomorrow.

The waves glimmer with light.
The sand surrounds my bare feet.
On this midsummer night, reality is more beautiful than dreams.

la la larks – earworm

la la larks, c/w M3 ~Sono Kuroki Hagane~ ED ego-izm

lyrics, music & arrangement : la la larks

Floated upward by the creeping, unpleasant warmth,
I quietly braid the lines of time.
The time when I was poisoned and went mad becomes my shield.
Call my name.

As though stagnant somehow, I draw a spiral… Pinky-promise me.

end of refrain
lyrics, music & arrangement : la la larks

Opened wounds, pain that doesn’t disappear upon the arrival of morning.
Once I’ve turned off the alarm, I’ve got to clothe myself in lies and head outside.

Past the power lines, on the other side of the signal,
I anticipate your presence.

Nakajima Megumi – Pumpkin Cake

Nakajima Megumi, c/w Rinne no Lagrange OP/ED TRY UNITE! / Hello!

Pumpkin Cake
Lyrics / Composition: Yabuki Kana
Arrangement: Suzuki Tomofumi
Vocals: Nakajima Megumi

With soft peaks of whipped cream, as though blanketing the two of us,
I tightly sealed in my embarrassment.
Add the time that has passed as a secret ingredient,
Then stir and stir and stir together with eggs and sugar.

Every day is a birthday, such a special feeling.
Once I take you by the hand, it begins – the time for just you and me.
