In the original Japanese lyrics, various words and phrases (including the entire title) are written entirely in katakana where they normally wouldn’t. The effect of this? I’d describe it as adding dynamics to the constant feel of the song’s pace. Maybe something like ripples in a fast-moving stream.
Sasaki Eri, who wrote her own lyrics for this song, has said that the lyrics draw on some of her personal feelings, and that the song is set around her school days in Kyoto (probably university).
